Architectural Modification Request

As provided in Article V Section 2, you will need approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) before placing or building any structure on your property or making any addition, change, or alteration to the exterior of any structure and/or contour of any Lot. Please complete the entire application and click the submit button at the bottom.

Use the provided checklist and examples to ensure you have included all the necessary information required for your type of modification. To account for all types of modifications, the form does not force every field to be filled.
Incomplete applications extend the processing time.

Checklist

1. Check if your request is exempt

As specified in Article VI Section 10, architectural review is not required for:

“the planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers within four (4) feet of the wall of the dwelling located on the lot”
“reasonable holiday decorations,” which may not be setup greater than 45 days prior to the subject holiday and which must be removed within 15 days after the subject holiday

2. Check that you’ve provided complete plans and specifications for the proposed structure or alteration, including:

- For new or extended structures, this placement information must be accurately depicted on a plot map, plat map, or survey map for your lot.
- Alterations to the exterior of an existing structure are typically best shown with a contractor’s rendering or as markups on a picture of the current structure.

Proposed construction schedule
Who will perform the work
Photograph(s) of the existing conditions, including the structure(s) or area(s) to be altered
Representative imagery of the intended end result, where feasible
