8/26 Update: Board members conducted a community walkthrough with the new landscaping company, BrightView. The effort to bring the landscaping conditions back up to standards will be implemented in three phases. The goal is to enhance and restore the appearance of the community’s common areas. BrightView is scheduled to begin work after Labor Day.

  • Phase 1 – Mowing and trimming all common areas, including:
    • The clubhouse grounds
    • Trails
    • Retention ponds
  • Phase 2 – Weeding and Tree/Bush Trimming
    • This phase involves extensive weeding and trimming of trees and bushes.
    • Some areas not outlined in the initial map are currently overgrown, and this phase may take additional time to complete.
  • Phase 3 – Seasonal Bush and Tree Maintenance
    • During the fall and winter months, BrightView will cut back and trim bushes and trees.
    • Delaying this work until cooler weather helps prevent plant stress and damage, ensuring long-term health and sustainability.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and cooperation as we work with BrightView to restore conditions.

8/12 Update: At the August meeting, the Board voted to replace the landscaping vendor.

Dear residents,

Please be advised that the Board has recently met with the landscaping company to discuss their performance and the necessary actions moving forward, regarding the current state of the property. After careful consideration, the Board has decided to place JBJ Landscaping on a probationary period. During this time, JBJ will be required to meet the performance guidelines that have been established. Should there be insufficient progress, the Board will consider terminating their contract.

It was also noted that JBJ Landscaping was not provided with a full scope of the property during their initial meeting with the former property management company. We appreciate your ongoing feedback and encourage the community to continue submitting photos if there are any areas that have not been properly addressed.

Thank you for your continued patience and involvement as we work to improve the quality of our landscaping services.

Sincerely,

The Trails at Beech Creek Board of Directors
