Trash Reminder

  1. Trash and recycling containers must be properly stored out of public view. The only exception is on days of trash collection.
  2. Trash and recycling containers should never be stored in the front of the property. The only exception is on days of trash collection.
  3. Trash and recycling containers should only be placed out for collection as early as Tuesday evening. Containers should not be placed out for collection on a Monday or on a Tuesday morning.
  4. Once trash and recycling has been collected, please return the containers to the proper storage location by 7:00pm.
  5. Tie it up. Make sure all of your garbage is properly contained and in a tied trash bag. Having your trash bag tightly sealed will not only keep odors contained, it will also ensure that no garbage falls out.  No one likes having papers, old food, or other garbage items blowing around the neighborhood.  It brings down the overall aesthetic of the community.
  6. Please pick up any loose trash or recycling items.
  7. Keep it enclosed. Place all of your trash completely inside and fully enclosed in your garbage can. This will help to reduce odors and prevent unsightly garbage from being seen around the neighborhood.  Rules like this may seem trivial, but they are intended to improve community aesthetics. Trash that is easily accessible attracts wildlife looking for food and thieves who go through trash in search of personal documents.
  8. Never put hazardous waste in the trash. This includes batteries, paint, electronic devices, fluorescent lamps and tubes, and flammable items.
  9. Please note that residents not adhering to this policy will be sent notifications for lack of compliance that may lead to monetary fines.

Section 7. Trash. No Lot shall be used or maintained as a dumping ground for rubbish, trash, garbage or other waste and every Lot shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. All containers or equipment for the storage or disposal of non-recyclable materials, i.e., rubbish, trash, garbage and other waste, shall be constructed of metal or rigid plastic and shall be secured with a lid, or shall be heavy duty plastic trash bags with a secured opening, and shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. Notwithstanding the above, recyclable materials may be stored in approved plastic bags. All such containers, equipment and bags shall not be permitted to remain in public view except on days of trash collection. Notwithstanding any provision of this Declaration, Declarant reserves the right for itself and a Builder to store materials, construction debris and trash during the construction period on the Properties without keeping the same in containers.

Thank you.
